Frequently Asked Questions
Proper insulation helps your home retain heat more effectively, reduces cold spots, improves temperature control, and lowers energy waste — meaning a warmer home and lower energy bills.
Yes — we safely clears old, ineffective, contaminated, or damaged insulation like fibreglass, mineral wool, and blown-in products, leaving the loft clean and ready for new installation.
Spray foam — whether open-cell or closed-cell — can create issues such as trapped moisture, poor ventilation, or problems with mortgage surveys. UKLoftSaver removes spray foam carefully while protecting roof structure and restoring proper airflow.
Raised loft boarding creates a safe, usable storage floor above the insulation so it doesn’t get compressed — helping retain insulation performance while giving you practical loft storage space.
No — raised systems are designed to maintain airflow and insulation effectiveness while still giving you safe storage access.
UKLoftSaver provides insulation, removal, and boarding services across the UK.
